Announcing AdhearsionConf 2010

We would like to announce the first AdhearsionConf to be held in San Francisco from August 14th to the 15th. Jay Phillips, the creator of Adhearsion, will be joining us for two days of talks, discussions, hacking and pair programming on all things Adhearsion. We also have other folks on deck that will be sharing their innovative uses of Adhearsion.
This event is sponsored by Voxeo Labs, so there will be no charge for the event itself. The final schedule and venue will be published soon. So mark your calendars and see you all in San Francisco in August!

Calling all Ruby and Asterisk developers! First Adhearsion Conference in SF Aug 14-15…
For all of you out there working with the Adhearsion open source telephony framework to easily create communications apps on top of Asterisk using the Ruby programming language…. the first “AdhearsionConf” will be held August 14-15 in San Francisco…

We’ll be there too. And a note for prospective attendees: you don’t need telecom experience or access to come to the event — just basic Ruby clue and an interest in scripting phone calls. There’s the Adhearsion Sandbox to test with, and we’ll provide free usage for testing or releasing voice services at the conf. One way or another your creation will be live.
